Astronomy - The Moon
The phases of the moon can be seen everywhere in the world. And 'one of the few constants in life of every human being on this planet. It 'also one of the most fascinating things that we can see in the night sky, and it is important to know why the phases are actually used in our daily lives. The tides around the world through the moon and the wind has made the cover of the world.
The moon has exchanged a calendar and a source of light for us for centuries. There arevarious phases of the moon, and usually last for a total of 4 weeks for the cycle. This helps us keep track of time, and the cycle usually lasts for 1 month.
1 New Moon - This phase occurs when the moon is not visible in the sky. The moon is actually seen as being through the sunlight. And 'formless or "new."
2 crescent Moon to see a thin crescent moon.
3 Third quarter - see half the moon is almost like a semi-circle.
Waning 4Luna - ¾ of the moon can be seen.
5 Full Moon - you can see a complete circle in the sky
The cycle takes place in reverse order. This phase is called the "growth".
Waxing 6 - ¾ to see the moon
7 First quarter - ½ is to see the moon
Crescent Moon 8 - ¼ of the moon can be seen.
This cycle is repeated every 4 weeks.
